OMG YAY

Image via WikipediaSo you all remember last year’s NaNoWriMo manuscript, right? The one I sent to Silhouette Desire in like February? Yeah? You with me?

Well, I got a call from the editor today (which, squee, I’ve never gotten a phone call from an editor before) to tell me that she’s sent it up to the next level for another read-through! Woohoo! This is a big deal to me because it means: (a) the first editor who read it liked it enough to send it to someone else to read; (b) it’s not rejected!

So I’m happy dancing in my chair today, and crossing my fingers that this whole thing will remain in the Not Rejected category until they decide to offer me wads of cash for my li’l ol’ story.
