As I’m sure you all know already, Halloween is my favorite holiday ever. We usually attend at least one Halloween party a year, and this year will be no exception. I started a Halloween party playlist last year, but it’s just now getting to the point where it’s pretty good. Here are the songs on my Halloween party playlist, most of which are vaguely related to spookiness, dark & moon-filled nights, or, you know, wolves.

Good list! I did a quick check in my iTunes and here's what I came up with (mostly 80's stuff):

Night on Bald Mountain from Fantasia [yes, it is really classical music composed by Mussorgsky (yes I had to look it up) ...but I always associate it with Fantasia]

Do you have the Mannheim Steamroller Halloween discs? I have the first one titled Halloween. They've done a total of 4 for the season I think but they appear to have similar songs so not sure how many are unique. They have classical songs with a 'spooky' turn to them and then also some sound effects so you can use it to scare the kids that come to door.... :)

I do like Night on Bald Mountain, and I actually have it on my iPod, but not in the playlist. I didn't want to bring down the groove to much with a classical piece. I like it, though. I always associate it with Fantasia, too. My little niece loves Fantasia, so I guess she'll always think of "Fantasia songs" when she hears them, even as an adult, like we do. ;)

I'll have to check out Mannheim Steamroller. I maybe could handle one or two of those, although they get on my nerves after a while! Haha.
