Yes, it is the return of the Weekly Fatass.
Today marks Day 1 of P90X and was very nearly a big fat fail. The alarm went off at 5:30, I turned it off, mumbled something about my shoulder still hurting*, and went back to bed. Had a dream that I had 4 kids over at my house in my guest room/workout room and that’s why I couldn’t work out, and when I woke up 45 minutes later, I was so grateful to have the house to myself that I got up and did my workout. Bring it, heh.
Today: Chest & Back
How it felt: A little rusty, but I know from whence I came, and I’ll be back in tip top shortly.
* My shoulder does still hurt. I slept on it wrong on Friday night after about a week of feeling tension build, probably from a combination of not exercising and a stressful week at work. Saturday morning it was so painful that I had to get up at 4 a.m. and go sit on the couch with a heating pad. However, this morning while I exercised, I was very careful, warmed up well and stretched it out, and didn’t push to the point of pain, and it actually feels better now than it did before I exercised. Be careful with injuries, kids.
