The Flowers

Sonja made all of the bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres herself. The flowers were purchased from Michael’s craft store: wine-colored hydrangeas for the bride’s bouquet, white hydrangeas for the bridesmaids’ bouquets, white silk ranunculus flowers for the corsages and white silk rosebuds for the boutonnieres.

    Okay, I will say I splurged on my flowers. White and purple orchids with white roses made up my bouquet and each of my attendants held stargazer lillies. Men had roses for boutonnieres and the moms and grandmothers had an orchid. We also had one red rose for remembrance of my father’s mother who died a few years before we married.nnAt least you get to keep your bouquet. :)
