Twelve Steps

If you’ve ever read Stephen King’s On Writing, you’ll recognize this as the assignment he gives his “students” to write a story based on the headline ESTRANGED HUBBY BEATS UP (OR MURDERS) EX-WIFE, except reverse the genders… oh yeah, and no plotting allowed. Here’s my attempt, but be warned: This is not a romance! If you don’t like squicky horror stories, don’t read it!
